Crowded Buses

Sometimes it is almost unbelievable how many people they can get on a bus. At school during busy transportation hours the buses are crowded. I didn't have to ride the bus often growing up since my mom was willing to drive to where we wanted to go. I have taken it a few times before, going to the mall to see a movie with my friends and whatnot, but I can only think of one time when the bus was really crowded. You could tell it was a group of students who were coming home from classes that day. I didn't have to ride for long since it is not far from the terminal to my stop, but now I normally have to ride at least one crowded bus, whether it is the one to or from the terminal to my stop, or one going to or from school. I normally wait until I know I'll be able to get a seat on the bus heading to the university before I get on, which is why I make sure I'll leave early for school. It's not that I'm not willing to stand but somedays when my bag is really heavy I'd rather not have my shoulder feel like it is going to break before I even reach school. In the morning depending on which bus I take going to the terminal I sometimes have to stand, which isn't so bad because the buses isn't crowded to the point where no one else can get on. It is at times like these I wish I had my licence so that I could drive to school, even if parking is expenses and the bus pass is included in tution. Somedays it is nice just to know you won't be crowded in a bus with plenty of other people.
